Traditional Presentations
Presentations should be 15 minutes in length, a 10 minute talk and 5 minutes for questions. There will be strict time keeping throughout the conference.
Slide decks will be accommodated, they must be saved on a flash drive, not sourced from an online platform (eg: Canva)
AV set up and laptops will be provided for speakers
Poster Presentations
Posters must have been submitted and accepted by March 1st for presentation at the conference
Please print your poster no larger than 36inches wide x 48inches high (90cm x 120cm).
Posters must be printed in portrait, not landscape, page orientation.
We will have the means to display your poster (boards, tape, pins etc.).
Posters will be presented during the poster session and cocktail hour, hosted during a conference field trip to Utah's Hogle Zoo on Friday, May 17th.
Panel Leaders
Panels will be 1 hour long
Panelists can present for 5 minutes on their background and research that relates to the panel theme
Open discussion will then commence between panelists and audience
Conservation Café Leaders
Time allotted to each Conservation Café is 1 hour 45 minutes
Conservation Cafés are informal, in-depth, roundtable conversations relating to certain topics
No slide decks will be used during Conservation Cafés, they will focus on discussion
